BUDGET ADMINISTRATOR: FINANCE
EAST LONDON CAMPUS – (Ref No. 67)
SALARY: R229 400 – R 283 750 per annum (All-inclusive package)
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Administration in the Financial Planning office
- Budget transfers on ITS (scrutinizing all request)
- Monitoring Departmental Expenditure
- Controlling university Budgets
- Advising all budget holders on their budgets
- Training Budget holders on how to run their budget reports
- Monthly Expenditure Reports
- Management Accounts
- Preparing budgets and meeting with various HODs
Requirements:
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS AND COMPETENCIES:
- M + 3 Bachelor’s degree a 3-year diploma in Cost Management accounting
- At least three years relevant experience in a higher education environment
- Planning, organising and problem solving orientation
- Tidiness, precision, reliability and integrity
- Computer and IT Literacy
- Good interpersonal relations, verbal and written communication skills
