Clash of African Genres – UKZN African Music and Dance Lunch Hour Concert
The UKZN 3rd year AMD students of 2024 presents to you Group 3’s concert under the theme: “The Clash of African Genres” a diverse, multi-cultural, and unique concert that explores some parts of the continent and content composed and arranged by the students. Be sure to come see the diversity of Africa in song and dance. The concert include IsiBhaca dance, African contemporary dance, Nguni dance, Gumboots, African gospel, Isicathamiya, Traditional Zulu sounds, and instrumentals. The performing students are: Mangaliso Ndwalane, Nhlanhla Magubane, Njabulo Mbonambi, Thabiso Buthelezi, Thulani Zulu and Smangaliso Khumalo.
