Job description

Photographing product, new employees and on occasion ad hoc events and functions within the company
Styling & photographing product to meet specified product and website requirements
Deep etching, retouching and resizing images to meet required specifications
Renaming and keywording images as per system requirements
Archiving images to respective folders
Quality control of images
Liaising with buyers to meet image requirements
Stock control (safe-keeping and tracking of products, photographic and studio equipment)
Housekeeping of studio
Managing studio workflow & processes

Requirements

A related tertiary qualification – advantage
2-3 years photography working experience in a retail or similar environment – an advantage
Proficient in Adobe Bridge, Photoshop, lightroom and Microsoft office
Edit images using Adobe Photoshop CS6 & CC & Adobe Lightroom
Understanding of DSLR’s, lenses, lighting equipment and accessories
Working knowledge of studio lighting, lighting techniques & Set Ups
Wide-ranging knowledge of various image file formats & sizing
Full understanding of digital image colour profiles
Ability to style and pin products, ranging from apparel to footwear
Capacity to carry heavy loads e.g. equipment
Strong work ethic and methodical work approach
