MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education and Experience
Code 14 Driver’s License – minimum 3 years from date of firstissue
Valid PRDP
Minimum of 3 Years accident free drivingexperience would be an advantage
Literacy level – Grade 12
Read ,Write and communicatein English
Experience in driving ondirt roads will be advantageous
bereliable, punctual and self-motivated
Abilityto perform administrative task associated with the job
Musthave traceable references
Job Specification
Skills and Knowledge
Reporting procedure of emergencies and defects
Maximum vehicle cost-effectiveness and efficiency
Driver actions into weather/road/traffic conditions
Function and Location of vehicle components
Successfully complete medical evaluation
Clean Criminal record verification
Successfully complete required In-house training program – Operate a combination vehicle Theory & Practical and Fatigue Management
Job Specification
Key Performance area:
Operate heavy duty vehicles
Carrying out routine vehicle checks
Driving vehicles to their destination and unloading according to site requirements
Maintaining a logbook/Trip sheet with details of trips
Carry out all reasonable instructions from Supervisors
Ensure all documentation pertaining to deliveries are recorded
Adhere to Customers Bio-Security rules
Adhere to all safe working procedures
Adhere to cleaning procedures of vehicle
Perform ancillary duties when required
Willing to work shifts, weekends and public holidays
Preferably own reliable transport (shift work)
Compliance to all Mine Health and safety requirement
