INTRODUCTION
We are looking for 6 code 14 drivers with public driving permits to be based at our contract – LNT – Pinetown
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education and Experience
- Code 14 Drivers licence
- Valid PRDP
- Minimum 3 years articulated driving experience would be an advantage
- Literacy level Grade 10 to 12
- Read.write and communicate in english
- Experience in driving on dirt road will be advantageous
- Be reliable,punctual and self motivated
- Ability to perform administrative task associated with the job
- Must have traceable references
Skills and Knowledge
- Successfully complete medical evaluation
- No criminal record
- Willing to work 12hr shift, weekends and public holidays
- Driver actions into weather / road / traffic conditions
- Function and Location of vehicle components
Job Specification
Key Performance Areas
- Adhere to Safety and Security Procedures and promote safety standards
- Perform vehicle pre-trip checks
- Handle required documentation
- Operate heavy duty vehicle as per the Vehicle Management Plan
