INTRODUCTION
Lucerne Transport has a open position available as a Workshop Admin Assistant that will be based in Wynberg, Gauteng to conduct Administration duties relating to the Workshop and Transport environment

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Grade 12
- Muct have some working experience in the Warehousing/Workshop environment
- Good understanding of MS Excel
- Must be have Pastel everlution experience
- Must have a minumum of 1 – 2 years working experience
- Must have a valid code 8 drivers licenses and well as own reliable transport
- Deadline oretated
- Adhoc activities
Please note that this vacancy has a 3 months probation period
Job Specification
- Capturing information from Inspection Sheets/Electrical Worksheets/Job cards/Driver Defect Reports/Valve Pressure Tests
- Keeping records of information such as :
- When last was truck in yard for inspection/last tanker services/last pressure test/last valve inspection test/last fire extinguisher service.
- Communicating need for above to be done to Ops.
- Keeping service records. Ensuring services done on time. Book for services. Communicating with Ops. Keep record of km’s between services, actual and average.
- Filing/Ensure all records that have to be on file for audits, are on file.
- Scanning of all vehicle documents, such as RC1’s and licences on system and in files.
- Communicate with Ops which vehicles due for COF’s.
- Prepare paperwork for licences.
- Go to licencing department.
- Check all licences correctly issued.
- Keep record of which licences due when.
- Prepare paperwork for Liz – receipts of licences.
- Prepare licences to go on units (cut, laminate, in envelope, etc)
