10 URBAN SKETCHING WORKSHOPS. An international initiative to celebrate 10 years of Urban Sketchers.org. 25 March – 27 May 2024 on Wed and Sat mornings around Joburg
Urban Sketchers.org is 10 years old and we want to celebrate by introducing the first long term USk course ever! We invite all sketchers around the world to attend ten on location classes with an USk official instructor in your city to learn or improve the core value of Urban Sketching: sketch the world, one drawing at a time. The full course is R1200, Wed or Sat classes only is R600, with slightly higher fees for one, three or four sessions. Each class will have a maximum of 15 participants. We do not normally charge for sketch meetings but in these workshops the fees will go to covering expenses, with a small stipend for instructors. 10% goes to the Urban Sketchers International education programme.
We are offering some reduced or free places to anyone who can’t afford them and is keen to attend.
