A new position has become available within a development house which forms part of a larger listed Technology focused group of companies.
The incumbent will be responsible for managing a team of people responsible for:
- GAP analysis (Spatial and attribute data analysis) in order to determine completeness of asset register data
- Provide inputs towards a data improvement plan
- Processing verification results into workable templates in order to complete asset register information
- Capturing of as-built/other diagrams
- Create shape files for importing
- Create import templates for importing data into the company software modules
- Update the companies software modules with annual movements.
- Assist in the analysis required for IAMP and CMIP data requirements in assistance to the engineering and accounting sections of the team
- Assist with the creation and setup of asset hierarchies, unit rate models and calibration thereof to the different clients and service sectors.
- Setting up asset care plans/maintenance schedules into the maintenance management module
- Assist with data clean-up services where required
- Provide inputs to software development teams on product enhancements/improvements
- Responsible for ensuring all asset register clients asset registers are updated periodically even if done by external service provider or by the client themselves
- Other data related requirements as they might arise through the different client requirements
Skills and experience:
Requirements:
- Knowledge and experience in GRAP standards would be beneficial
- Understanding of GIS (handling of spatial data, conversion of data, experience in data analysis) SQL experience essential
- Must be very good with data analytics/handling
- Advanced Excel skills
- Computer literacy essential
- ISO 55000/PAS 55 knowledge will be advantageous
- At least five years’ experience in handling data in an asset management environment is crucial.
