Job description
Are you our next video/film/media production intern?
Are you en route to start a career in video or media production, social media, creative design and looking to gain experience in publishing and digital media? We’re on the lookout for one video/film/media production intern with a big passion for magazines to work with our team for up to three months.
To be considered, you must be available to take up a full-time (five days a week, 9am to 5pm) internship, starting as soon as possible.
What you will be doing:
- Plan, produce and execute videos for the web magazine and social media
- Create live video shows like Facebook Live
- Collaborate with all departments from editorial to marketing, advertising, design to create content and to build appropriate strategies
- Manage our ELLE community by keeping a robust presence across social media channels and updating the website
- Develop and help shape dynamic content for both traditional and online media channels
- Help create a long term social media plan and marketing calendar
- Create compelling content and get it shared by influencers
- Create and maintain viral loops between our Instagram, Twitter, Facebook Page
Please note the internship is based in our Cape Town office.

Requirements
Qualifications:
- A solid background in film/media production
- Ability to manage multiple projects, work across department and communicate effectively
- Strong computer skills, some video/media production experience and some design experience in Adobe Creative Suite a plus
