The Brand Strategist Intern will assist in finding ways to further enhance the branding of a product or service, as well as assisting with developing marketing plans through analysis of current market data and trends. Compile insightful post campaign feedback reports.
Requirements

  • Matric/Grade 12 Essential
  • A degree in relevant discipline would be advantages

Competencies:

  • Strong desire to learn, along with professional drive
  • Understanding of different marketing techniques
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office
  • Passion for the FMCG industry and its best practices

Duties:

  • Creative Presentations
  • Participates in strategy development initiatives for clients.
  • Suggest new means of developing, growing and understanding the brand.
  • Assemble strategic insights into presentation materials for clients
  • Assisting in creating insightful research application
  • Brings the consumer/shopper to life through storytelling for clients
  • Perform competitive analysis and identify gaps and opportunities in the marketplace
  • Keep abreast of emerging behaviours and technologies and apply
  • Research and recommend new in-store and retailer media developments and ideas
  • Monitors and interprets cultural and social trends relevant to client business
  • Understand clients critical brand and communication issues
  • Responsible for the running of all information gathering and research exercises on each of their own projects.
  • Able to provide team with input during the creative process
  • Able to manage research applied for creative development and to ensure that interpretation of results is used effectively and to develop core ideas.
  • Will assist with researching, developing and presenting the most effective campaign for a brand, with the intent being to influence the behaviour of the target audience.
  • Assist with combining creative thinking with factual analysis to determine the most effective manner/media channel mix that will maximise the impact of the brands advertising campaigns within the allocated budget.

Administration

  • Compile insightful post campaign feedback reports.
  • Research, ideas and recommendations for feedback reports.
  • Updating and utilizing applicable Trello boards.
  • Updating and utilizing applicable Google sheets.
  • Assist with pulling top stores.
