As its mission to assist young generation of South Africa to improve their skill in practical field, DPME (Dept of Planning, Monitoring, and Evaluation) provides lists of graduate internship programme for 2024 to apply only for those who meet the qualifications. In fact, DPME offers plenty sub areas for its internship programme which are divided by Reference Number DPME. Nevertheless, here are some of them you can apply alongside with the qualifications you are obliged to meet. Keep in mind, that this internship programme only for those SA students who successfully complete their higher education for its diplomas or degrees.
Reference Number DPME/01, then it is for finance, youth desk, internal audit communication, human resources management and some others. Applying for those sub areas, you must hold N6 certificate/diploma/degree in accounting, taxation, human resource management, financial management, information technology and other related disciplines. A graduate internship programme which Reference Number DPME/02, it requires you to have a degree/N6 certificate/diploma for social science, office management, policy and research, project management and plenty others. The sub areas for those previously qualifications are; Special project, Office of DDG, Evaluation and Supports and some more. Meanwhile for Reference Number DPME/03, it should be a N6 certificate/diploma/degree in system administration, national planning, statistics and its pertinent areas.
Lastly, for a graduate internship programme with Reference Number DPME/04, you must obtain a degree/N6 certificate/diploma in political science, public management, economics and so on. Send your applications with the qualifications and other necessary documents like CV, SA ID, and some others. Ensure that you use an application on Z83 form which is accessible from Public Service Department.
