Internship Programme at Department of Telecommunications & Postal Services

The Department of Telecommunications and Postal Services is offering fifteen (15) Internships to promising graduates between the ages of 18 and 35 for a period of twelve (12) months, with a stipend of R7008.00 per month.
Applicants must be unemployed graduates who are in possession of the relevant tertiary qualifications and are South African citizens. Applicants should have no previous work experience, including no previous Internships. Successful applicants will sign an Internship agreement.
The Department aims to develop ICT policies and legislations that create favourable conditions for accelerated and shared sustainable growth for the South African economy which positively impacts on the well being of all our people.
Requirements

  • Postal Policy – B Degree in Law or Public Administration / National Diploma in Public Administration and/or Political Science (Reference Number: DTPS 01)
  • Economic Analysis – B Degree in Economics, Econometrics and/or Statistics. An Honours Degree will be an added advantage (Reference Number: DTPS 02)
  • Cyber Security Operations – B Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems (Reference Number: DTPS 03)
  • Broadband – National Diploma / B Degree in Electronic Engineering. An additional qualification in Project Management will be an added advantage (Reference Number: DTPS 04)
  • Stakeholder Relations – National Diploma / B Degree in Public Relations or Stakeholder Relations / Management (Reference Number: DTPS 05)
  • ICT Regulatory Institutions – B Degree in Finance or Economics. An Honours Degree will be an added advantage (Reference Number: DTPS 06)
  • ICT International Affairs – B Degree in International Relations, Law, Politics or Economics Reference Number: DTPS 07)
  • Finance – National Diploma / B Degree in Finance (Reference Number: DTPS 08)
  • Supply Chain Management – National Diploma / B Degree in Purchasing, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or Finance (Reference Number: DTPS 09)
  • Human Resources – National Diploma / B Degree in HR M, HRD, Public Administration and/or Industrial Psychology (Reference Number: DTPS 10)
  • Communications & Marketing – National Diploma / B Degree in Communications (Reference Number: DTPS 11)
  • IT & Knowledge Management- National Diploma /  B Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology (Reference Number: DTPS 12)
  • Legal Services- LLB Degree or equivalent legal qualification. Admission as an attorney or advocate will be an added advantage (Reference Number: DTPS 13)
  • Strategic Planning & Monitoring – B Degree in Monitoring and Evaluation, Statistics or Research (Reference Number: DTPS 14)
  • Internal Audit & Risk Management – National Diploma / B Degree in Internal Audit, Financial Information Systems (FIS) or Risk Management / B Degree in Informatics or Information Systems Audit (Reference Number: DTPS 15)
