The South Africans Breweries (SAB) offers career opportunities through bursaries, in-service training as well as learnership programme. SAB learnerships have the purpose which is to accommodate learners in order to understand and acquaint themselves with the underlying principles of all the major sectors which are associated to distribution within the Wholesale and Retail sector as well as enabling the learners to become more effective workers. Learners will be provided by this certificate with grounding in all sectors of Distribution. They can increase their productivity within the Wholesale and Retail sector but also they have to apply their learning in a couple of other business environments.

Learnership Duties
The learners which have been qualified for these SAB learnerships will be exposed to:
- Writing, reading and verbal communications during the distribution environment
- Irrational and rational numbers and number systems
- You will receive stock into the retail or wholesale outlet
- You will be maintaining the balances of the stock
- Deliver of stock should be saved to customers
- Organization procedures and policies and legal requirement for the transportation of goods
- Administrative functions associated to stock delivery and receipt
- The packing of stock in areas which have been chosen appropriately
- You will pick the stock
- You have to pick, packing and movement of stock in order to minimize damages
- You will be recording the movement of the stock on the stock management system
- You will maintain internal and external housekeeping standards
- You have to maintain customer service and the levels of satisfaction
