Sefako Makgatho Health Sciences University (SMU) Orientation 2024
The OP thoroughly prepare students for academic success and assist in their transition from secondary / high school to university. After attending the OP, students will be well prepared and able to cope with university life. During the OP, students will: • Be introduced to staff members and important resources that are critical to their personal and academic success at SMU. • Acquaint themselves with the vision, mission, motto and values of SMU. • Attend departmental orientations that include academic presentations about their respective programmes, assessment tests, questionnaires, computer training, and campus tours • Be introduced to social clubs/societies that offer extra-mural activities.
